Very interesting presentation. I thought it was very informative, and think this is a great follow-on to the dialectics blog post.
Just a note: The problem I have with this shift from Hegel to the Kant view, where we see the transition from the human creating their world to external objects imposing their will on the human, is that it allowed a small minority to manipulate objects (ie. symbols, language, physical objects, etc.) in order to manipulate humanity. Further, I believe this transition to objects over mind leads to the ultimate equating of humans with objects.
