I'll talk later about my thoughts on the underlying messages of this new Jim Cameron movie. Right now, it's too late to formulate any cogent points. For now, here's a snippet about Pandora...

Quote :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora's_box

After Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create the woman Pandora as part of the punishment for mankind. Pandora was given many seductive gifts from Aphrodite, Hermes, Hera, Charites, and Horae (according to Works and Days). For fear of additional reprisals, Prometheus warned his brother Epimetheus not to accept any gifts from Zeus, but Epimetheus did not listen, and married Pandora. Pandora had been given a large jar and instruction by Zeus to keep it closed, but she had also been given the gift of curiosity, and ultimately opened it. When she opened it, all of the evils, ills, diseases, and burdensome labor that mankind had not known previously, escaped from the jar, but it is said, that at the very bottom of her box, there lay hope.

There's a lot of The Matrix meme in this movie. It's the same theme that shows up in the new Surrogates movie, as well as the older Lawnmower Man Stephen King flick.

The concept and technology of mixed reality is the crux with items such as Avatar for me. This particular movie may be a quantum leap forward for the system in reality bending/perception management techniques. The push in cinemas will be for high definition, 3D immmersive experiences that seek to blur the lines between computer graphics and actual film photography of real actors, till there is no division whatsoever. From the Avatar trailer I've seen it's already
very, very difficult to distinguish what exactly is being experienced. Along these lines, perhaps as a lower budget experiment, was the film Immortal Ad Vitam.

This, I presume, are all segues to 3D cinema gaming shows, with an entire film/game cast drawn from the paying audience.

Immortal, "the greatest power of all, the power to procreate with gods." So, this is what they do with the money that they steal from the public, figure out how to fuck Gods and live forever?

Interesting to see Horus, the bird headed man, who is one of the oldest and most significant of the deities in the Ancient Egyptian religion. Horus served many functions in the Egyptian pantheon, most notably being the god of the sky and god of war. The eye in the pyramid is the eye of Horus, as he sees all, because he's a bird. Of course, they show Horus fly out of the capstone of the pyramid - how quaint.

Horus is also the son of Osiris and Isis - the story goes that Osiris was the god who was slain by his evil brother Set, who cut him in pieces and threw his parts in the Nile. Isis, his wife finds the parts and puts them together ressurecting Osirus.

It's just so interesting how they keep throwing these same memes at us. Been going on for thousands of years, it's just their technology for delivery keeps getting better, as in more realistic and believable by an dumbed down public.

Wow, I skimmed through the film Immortal and I see what you mean. It was very challenging to determine what was "real" and what was digital. In some cases, I think the characters themselves where hybrids of "real" and digital. In other cases, we'd see a single scene that would comprise a mix of digital and "real" characters.

Combine that with the fact that we have images and messages being sent that included: the god of Horus attempting to procreate with a "special human," possession of a "human" by a god, a public that is almost totally comprised of transhumans, and the capstone of a pyramid covering an entire city.

This highlighted to me many concepts, but one was a particularly very scary concept, and that is that they plan to destroy humanity by bastardizing it in every manner imaginable.

This is Luciferian beyond belief. Their agenda is horrific. Humanity cannot sit idle while they pursue this path. Just look at this website - take their questionnaire.

I read some of the Avatar peoples replies. Most of them are in fairytale land. They dont even realize that the Avatars had to lose a lot of their tribe and fellow animal friends to gain their freedom. Not saying that I want to fight against TPTB but many over (avatar forums) there dont realize that the movie was not all utopia as many had to die to get back their utopia, think the forums peeps are willing to do that, Im not saying that this is whats needed but what happened in the movie? There are some good suggestions though on the forum when relating to our current predicament.

Great find!

So, this is part of the setup of the movie.... they're going to get kids demanding Virtual Reality now. I wonder how much of this "demand" is planted online and how much of it is organic.

I wonder if they've embedded technotronics into the 3D version that is causing a neuro reaction of some sort. I'm confident that they have the technology, at least Brzezinski discusses it in one of this books.

P.S. Here's a recent video of James Cameron arguing with a fan at the airport. Do you really think this moron actually had anything to do with the creation, production and direction of this film? I say he's just another Hollywood front man, fronting for an entire team of psychologists, sociologists, etc. who actually developed and created the film.

A mere Hollywood front man? Don't know. He certainly did have a whole team of the type of experts you mention (and exponentially more besides for this paradigm shift venture) to construct this alien world so many are finding unavoidably alluring. He's also legendary for being an egomanical dictator on set, a borderline psychopath many say. Just google "Cameron egomaniac psychopath dictator," or a combination of different keywords there and you'll see the sort of reports available on this.

When I left the theater, the world seemed less 'real'.

Audiences experience 'Avatar' blues

By Jo Piazza, Special to CNN

(CNN) -- James Cameron's completely immersive spectacle "Avatar" may have been a little too real for some fans who say they have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts after seeing the film because they long to enjoy the beauty of the alien world Pandora.

On the fan forum site "Avatar Forums," a topic thread entitled "Ways to cope with the depression of the dream of Pandora being intangible," has received more than 1,000 posts from people experiencing depression and fans trying to help them cope. The topic became so popular last month that forum administrator Philippe Baghdassarian had to create a second thread so people could continue to post their confused feelings about the movie.

"I wasn't depressed myself. In fact the movie made me happy ," Baghdassarian said. "But I can understand why it made people depressed. The movie was so beautiful and it showed something we don't have here on Earth. I think people saw we could be living in a completely different world and that caused them to be depressed."

A post by a user called Elequin expresses an almost obsessive relationship with the film.

"That's all I have been doing as of late, searching the Internet for more info about 'Avatar.' I guess that helps. It's so hard I can't force myself to think that it's just a movie, and to get over it, that living like the Na'vi will never happen. I think I need a rebound movie," Elequin posted.

A user named Mike wrote on the fan Web site "Naviblue" that he contemplated suicide after seeing the movie.

"Ever since I went to see 'Avatar' I have been depressed. Watching the wonderful world of Pandora and all the Na'vi made me want to be one of them. I can't stop thinking about all the things that happened in the film and all of the tears and shivers I got from it," Mike posted. "I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in 'Avatar.' "

Other fans have expressed feelings of disgust with the human race and disengagement with reality.

Cameron's movie, which has pulled in more than $1.4 billion in worldwide box office sales and could be on track to be the highest grossing film of all time, is set in the future when the Earth's resources have been pillaged by the human race. A greedy corporation is trying to mine the rare mineral unobtainium from the planet Pandora, which is inhabited by a peace-loving race of 7-foot tall, blue-skinned natives called the Na'vi.

In their race to mine for Pandora's resources, the humans clash with the Na'vi, leading to casualties on both sides. The world of Pandora is reminiscent of a prehistoric fantasyland, filled with dinosaur-like creatures mixed with the kinds of fauna you may find in the deep reaches of the ocean. Compared with life on Earth, Pandora is a beautiful, glowing utopia.

Ivar Hill posts to the "Avatar" forum page under the name Eltu. He wrote about his post-"Avatar" depression after he first saw the film earlier this month.

"When I woke up this morning after watching Avatar for the first time yesterday, the world seemed ... gray. It was like my whole life, everything I've done and worked for, lost its meaning," Hill wrote on the forum. "It just seems so ... meaningless. I still don't really see any reason to keep ... doing things at all. I live in a dying world."

Reached via e-mail in Sweden where he is studying game design, Hill, 17, explained that his feelings of despair made him desperately want to escape reality.

"One can say my depression was twofold: I was depressed because I really wanted to live in Pandora, which seemed like such a perfect place, but I was also depressed and disgusted with the sight of our world, what we have done to Earth. I so much wanted to escape reality," Hill said.

Cameron's special effects masterpiece is very lifelike, and the 3-D performance capture and CGI effects essentially allow the viewer to enter the alien world of Pandora for the movie's 2½-hour running time, which only lends to the separation anxiety some individuals experience when they depart the movie theater.

"Virtual life is not real life and it never will be, but this is the pinnacle of what we can build in a virtual presentation so far," said Dr. Stephan Quentzel, psychiatrist and Medical Director for the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. "It has taken the best of our technology to create this virtual world and real life will never be as utopian as it seems onscreen. It makes real life seem more imperfect."

Fans of the movie may find actor Stephen Lang, who plays the villainous Col. Miles Quaritch in the film, an enemy of the Na'vi people and their sacred ground, an unlikely sympathizer. But Lang says he can understand the connection people are feeling with the movie.

"Pandora is a pristine world and there is the synergy between all of the creatures of the planet and I think that strikes a deep chord within people that has a wishfulness and a wistfulness to it," Lang said. "James Cameron had the technical resources to go along with this incredibly fertile imagination of his and his dream is built out of the same things that other peoples' dreams are made of."

The bright side is that for Hill and others like him -- who became dissatisfied with their own lives and with our imperfect world after enjoying the fictional creation of James Cameron -- becoming a part of a community of like-minded people on an online forum has helped them emerge from the darkness.

"After discussing on the forums for a while now, my depression is beginning to fade away. Having taken a part in many discussions concerning all this has really, really helped me," Hill said. "Before, I had lost the reason to keep on living -- but now it feels like these feelings are gradually being replaced with others."

Quentzel said creating relationships with others is one of the keys to human happiness, and that even if those connections are occurring online they are better than nothing.

"Obviously there is community building in these forums," Quentzel said. "It may be technologically different from other community building, but it serves the same purpose."

Within the fan community, suggestions for battling feelings of depression after seeing the movie include things like playing "Avatar" video games or downloading the movie soundtrack, in addition to encouraging members to relate to other people outside the virtual realm and to seek out positive and constructive activities.

This was my very thought also. I really believe it's LIKELY.

This is the kind of thing Alan Watt has sometimes talked about. How they elect, with some randomness, a front person (who takes the credit) and then create some amazing, skillful play/movie/scientific discovery which the globalists themselves actually have had created by their 'experts.' I'd have to say this looks like another one of those cases, considering James Cameron's extreme unimpressiveness. Yup, I do believe so... Cool

I remember driving away from the matinee viewing of the film during (yet another) magnificent Maui sunset and thinking how dull it looked. Lifeless compared to all the visual gizmos I had just experienced. That's all I can recall as far as after-effects. I don't know if I have changed in anyway, as far as I can tell everything is the same.

I actually know someone that worked closely with Cameron on an earlier film, and they said he was a total "asshole."

I've also seen several interviews and conferences with other writers/directors/producers, and for the most part, they have all been beyond unimpressive. In each case, I've not seen that there was anyway possible that the people who were talking were smart and creative enough to create the vastly complicated and multi-layered TV and Cinema that they were being credited for.

With all the similar reports coming out, and given their push toward virtual reality and surrogate avatars, I'd say they've encoded this movie in some way....and I wonder what the keys, codes and triggers are for the program?

Just looking at various forum posts, and I'm finding comments similar to the following....

"Suicidal Thoughts & Depression Because They Can't Live In Perfect World Of 'Pandora'."

Calling it Pandora is the giveaway. In Greek Mythology, Pandora opened a jar (pithos), releasing all the evils of mankind.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora

These people are saying "I feel no point in living if I can't live on Pandora." It's a Catch-22. They're mocking the audience and the audience doesn't even know it. Wanting to live on Pandora is wanting to release all the evils of mankind.

Quote :
"Thursday last week I was asked if you would like to watch this new film Avatar that has recently come out at one of the 3D Max Cinemas, so I said yeah sure I haven't got much else to do today.

Now I never wish I went there, the film was very awesome but my mind has completely taken over my thoughts this imaginative world and fantasy of the Nar'vi has made my life hell. I can't control whats happening to me im getting every depression symptom I have found so far and im getting worred I feel sick.

I dont want to work, sleep, eat think of anything else but this Film??? what has happened to me.

Im trying to understand myself and I think this film has a “life” that my mind wants to live and does not care about ANYTHING I live for now.

I cant fully explain it.

This is not a mild depression I have suffered depression a lot in my life due to violence when I was younger (father always hitting etc. I was apparently hard to up-bring when I was young but thats not my thought. I cant remember anything)

I'm at breaking point I cry a lot I cant sleep, and IF I see or hear anything to do with this film such as an advert or anything that relates to this new Avatar film my mind goes totally emotional and I feel horrible. Its not normal I cannot try to ignore it, I can be watching tv I feel normal and the advert comes up BANG my mind completely thrown off course and I have NO control over my feelings and this would last for a few hours and slowly disappear."

A friend sent me the above clip, along with the following note...

I read a book written in the early 50's called 'Growing up Absurd' which explained movies were making young people feel inadequate to ever equal characters portrayed on the screen as role models -- role models which don't exist in the real world. It creates impossible standards and expectations. Hence, causes feelings of inferiority and submission

Now look at this. We've got FOX calling the response to AVATAR a "Phenomena." I'm not sure why the MSM pushing this vector, but given that they are, I'd say that this response is a manufactured OP.... I just don't understand it yet.

OK, so I finally saw Avatar. It was an awesome and visually stunning experience! I have not felt that way about a movie in a long time, not since I saw the Matrix in theaters. It seems like that is the consensus though.

However, I have not thought about it much afterward, and reality did not seem any different. It's just another pleasant memory.

My take on the "post-film depression" is that the mechanism may be similar to a drug experience, where a high is produced, dopamine receptors de-sensitize (adapt to the greater amount of neurotransmitter present), and once the stimulus is gone, there is an inadequate quantity of the chemical naturally produced. Withdrawal symptoms may occur. But this would be in rare cases only.
