Management Cybernetics & Chaos Theory (Self Organizing Systems)

From Video (bracketed colored comments are my own inserts): "Management Cybernetics is the science of effective organization ]what exactly is meant by "effective"? and who does this "effective" organizing benefit and what, exactly, is being organized?] . Despite its name, Chaos Theory centers on self-organizing systems ]the organizing is not really done by the organization itself, it is "guided" into this "organization". But then, we're not supposed to understand this].

Cybernetics is expert in complexity. Chaotic systems are Complex Systems ]refer to Complexity Theory thread(s) that discuss Complex Adaptive Systems] that can self-organize when key independent variables ]WTF are "Key Independent Variables"?... are these controlled assets and institution within society that the public believe are independent actors?] become synchronized through positive and negative feedback ]yeah, who is issuing these neg & pos feedback loops, and what mechanisms are they using?]. The connection is clear. Management Cybernetics is interested in finding the invariant features ]fixed unseen elements, such as "Key Independent Variables" that are not really independent at all] of viable systems ]like the human social system] and self-organization from chaos is one of them.

The border or edge of chaos ]i.e. sometimes referred to as "The Edge"] is the thin border where information captures energy to reproduce the organization." ]So, the global information systems being built around all of us are designed to capture human energy and re-insert it into the system such that these "inputs" "reproduce" the organization and thereby continue the building of the "system" for infinitum]

I'll breakdown the video further in future posts.

Noise over Signal
Signal over Noise

Chaos theory has been applied in the 'noise' breaking down the Aristotelian model of stable order which was dominant for around 1700 years. Chaos theory can be applied to facilitate paradigm shifts.

So, noise is applied to flood the perceivers in the system with chaos distribution, so that social engineers can change the set and setting scenery for the paradigm shift without being observed. 911 was an application of this. ...

And this technique will continue from this point forward until the foreseeable future. With noise levels above system control levels, and therefore exposing their control systems becomes impossible.

@0.10 Chaos Theory is not about Chaos pe se, it is about systems that self organize from Chaos. The interesting part is not the Chaos, but the "Emerging Order."

@0.26 Chaos is therefore a part of Cybernetics because chaotic systems that generate order, such as the waters flowing in a river, do so from the coupling of positive and negative feedback loops. Positive feedback is like the energy [ie. public] and negative feedback is the control [ie. Alex Jones; financial markets; legal system; etc.]. Whirlpools are the resulting order [ie. our current social order].

@0.52 We must have in mind that Cybernetics was born as an interdiscinplinary effort; physics and chemistry could not explain complex phenomena such as life.

Universal Systems Model (USM)
desired result; information feedback; input; system; output

Feedback was discovered as existing in both in the mechanical control and biological control [ie phenomena existing in both human & machine].

@1.10 Chaos theory is the specific cybernetic theory that explains how order emerges from turbulance and chaos.

@1.19 If look carefully, we find whirlpools everywhere: in tornados, in the storms of Jupiter, in the desert. This is quite a repetitive phenomena in nature. Think of chaos as the result of uncontrolled bursts of energy [ie. uncontrolled public allowed to exert energy as they independently see fit].

@1.37 Chaotic systems are impossible to predict, to control and to manipulate [we can't have this, can we?]. But when they achieve certain stability, order arises [here we have the science of managing chaos, but only when it achieves "certain stability].

@1.47 These two gentlemen are John Briggs and David Peat, experts in Chaos Theory. They say that order is born from chaos. On ocassion, things that appear disordered have some implicit order.

"The scientific expression of 'chaos' refers to the underlying interconnection that exists between event that are apparantly random" (B&P, p7)
