HBGary Email leaks (most have been whitewashed)

Late last year Anonymous conducted DDoS attacks on businesses which cut services to Wikileaks such as its bank accounts. The US government hired computer security firm HBGary to try to find the people behind Anonymous' attacks. So Anonymous somehow hacked their email server and pulled out thousands of emails. In terms of current events, I view the misconduct of these weasels (HBGary), distasteful as it is, as of rather minor concern. Their criminality, comparatively, barely 'holds a candle' to the truly monstrous bad guys digging away at the roots of our liberty - such as the Mideast war provocateurs (the whole matrix of them) who are so damn busy fomenting the starvation and death of hapless African/Arabian populations like Libya, Egypt, etc. This is where, in terms of truly scary events, the bulk of my alarm is currently.....so hope you understand what may seem like overtolerance on my part.

I guess I've become somewhat inured to "minor" evil - a sad state of affairs, is it not?

On the other hand though, I don't think the nastier physical attacks on liberty are possible without having a successful information war as the foundation.

As far as the false persona though, it really makes you think about those handful of usertags that are inevitably active on just about every single forum that will defy all abilities to reason and debate the same topics ruthlessly and endlessly.

Ah, yes. You mean them there trolls, I reckon Err, been to RPF recently?? They have trolls there that would drive anyone to sheer desperation.

But seriously, I've found the best way to deal with them is to kind of gracefully ignore them - they really *hate* that.
Also, most of them have already earned a "rep" on their forum, wherein everyone KNOWS they are trolls, lol
