CNBC Host Accuses Guest Of Just Trying To Scare The Crap Out Of Everyone

What's the reason for this exchange? This had to be deliberate.

Latin America and Asia, they are.

Pento then argues that
consumers are going to be paying down debt for several years, and that
the U.S. will be weak through that time period. The two then fight it
out over the U.S. AAA rating and taxes.

At 6:00 minutes
in, Hobbs says, "You're just peddling the power of nightmares," and
"Wars are fought because of that sort of attitude."
Pento goes on to make points about how people need to take the threat
of U.S. sovereign debt seriously.

Hmm, interesting. I've come to understand there is no such thing as a truth leak.

I think this exchange was setup to send the message that honest talk about the economy will be treated as war provocateuring and will be responded to with great hostility.

The entire event was staged, although Pento may or may not have been in on the game, as the producers could have chosen him because they already knew what he was going to say, it's hard to tell.

Notice the NLP in the superimposition on the lower part of the screen? The one in the video still image says: "it's certain taxes are going up, regulations are increasing".

And, did you see the guy they interviewed in the first half of the video clip, he was clearly reading from a teleprompter when being interviewed.
