The Libertarian frontmen are now going after the intelligence establishment? To what end, to totally discredit the patriot wing of the republic/libertarian parties and flush them down the toilet, making them enemies of the state? Given the mess regarding the Tea Party Convention, the obvious hiding of complicity at RPF, and revelation that pro-war candidates are getting big dollars (interesting that this news was just released), seems there's a full scale campaign going on to discredit anyone who thought they were fighting for liberty.
Ron is quickly becoming the Howard Beale of the Libertarian followers.
Ron Paul: After ‘CIA coup,’ agency ‘runs military’ http://rawstory.com/2010/01/ron-paul-cia/
US House Rep. Ron Paul says the CIA has in effect carried out a "coup" against the US government, and the intelligence agency needs to be "taken out."
Speaking to an audience of like-minded libertarians at a Campaign for Liberty regional conference in Atlanta this past weekend, the Texas Republican said:
"There's been a coup, have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military. They're the ones who are over there lobbing missiles and bombs on countries. ... And of course the CIA is every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. ... And yet think of the harm they have done since they were established [after] World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators ... We need to take out the CIA."
Paul's comments, made last weekend, were met with a loud round of applause, but they didn't gather attention until bloggers noticed a clip of the event at YouTube.
Paul appeared to be referring to news reports that the CIA is deeply involved in air strikes against Al Qaeda targets in Afghanistan and Pakistan. A suicide bombing late last year against Forward Operating Base Chapman in Afghanistan took the lives of seven of CIA operatives, including two contracted from Blackwater. The event highlighted the CIA's deep involvement in the war effort.
Paul's reference to the CIA being "in the drug business" refers to long-running allegations that the CIA has funded some of its covert operations with proceeds from drug-running. That claim was most famously made in a 1996 investigative report from the San Jose Mercury-News, which alleged that cocaine from the Contra-Sandinista civil war in Nicaragua was making its way to the streets of L.A. via the CIA.

On reflection, I think I've found a brand-new vector. It conforms to what IP has set up as the criteria in that it (a) targets a specific group*, and (b) creates a fake climate or picture of circumstances.
I'm referring to this: http://www.unitedliberty.org/articles/ron-paul-supporters-terrorists, which is from the past oh about 6 months ago, and tieing it to what I see as the current vector, as presented in the above video: Ron Paul says "We Need To Take Out The CIA." What RP is doing here, it seems to me, is branding himself a " domestic terrorist" exactly as described by the MIAC. By doing this, he confirms the accuracy of the MIAC report, and stigmatizes all of his supporters with the same smear, that of being "Anti-Government domestic Terrorists."
Anyone know why he'd do such a thing?
*It's interesting to note that this "targeted vector" has NOT been picked up by the mainstream media AT ALL. It appears ONLY in all the usual online patriot venues--targeted for the Internet audience, in other words. Interesting, is it not?

Yup, I think you could call it the come kick-me vector because I am a nutcase. Same as Alex, Beck and a host of others serving patriots across the country.
I think they're taking anyone who is not totally asleep and turning them into the enemy of those who are in a zombie state of mind.
Good post!

I might call it the suicide vector, because it means the death of a particular set of beliefs. Beck's doing it, AJ is doing it... its full scale suicide on anyone who still believes in the Constitution or Liberty. Did I see that C4L and the Tea Party folks joining in as well?

I think we know now that he's COINTEL, but perhaps the only question left then is what alphabet agency he is beholden to.
I actually can't believe they're running him again... how old is he now? Just shows how important it is to keep the various audiences immersed in the system and only asking questions that are created and managed by the appropriate vector leaders.
