An outline of those elements of Science and Technology essential to an understanding of our social mechanism.
An analysis of the Price System. Technocracy's social synthesis
The Technate design is not a financial racket or a political party. It has no affiliations with any other organization, movement, or association, whether in North America or elsewhere.

The Study Course points out that this Continent has the natural resources, the physical equipment, and the trained personnel to produce and distribute an abundance. The Technical Alliance finds that the production and distribution of an abundance of physical wealth on a Continental scale for the use of all Continental citizens can only be accomplished by a Continental technological control--a governance of function-a Technate.

This Continent must decide between Abundance and Chaos within the next few years. Our future tomorrow rests on what we do today. Technate design offers the specifications and the blueprints of Continental physical operations for the production of abundance for every citizen.

The Technate design is dealing with social phenomena in the widest sense of the word ; this includes not only actions of human beings, but also everything which directly or indirectly affects their actions. Consequently, these studies embrace practically the whole field of science and industry. Biology, climate, natural resources, and industrial equipment all enter into the social picture ; and no one can expect to have any understanding of our present social problems without having at least a panoramic view of the basic relations of these essential elements of the picture.

All things on the earth are composed of matter and therefore require a knowledge of chemistry. These things move, and in so doing involve energy. An understanding of these relationships requires a knowledge of physics. Industrial equipment, as well as the substances of which living organisms are composed, are derived from the earth. This requires a knowledge of geology and earth processes. Humans are organisms that derive their food from other organisms. Hence, a knowledge of biology is necessitated.

The purpose of the Study Course is not to give to any person a comprehensive knowledge of science and technology, but rather to present an outline of the essential elements of these various fields, as they pertain to society, in a unified picture. Neither are these lessons a textbook. They are, instead, a guide to study. The materials to be studied are to a great extent already very well written in various standard and authentic references and texts in the fields of science.

At the end of each lesson there is cited a series of references.
If one is sincerely interested in learning what this program of scientific functional governance is about we do not know any other way that this can be achieved than by mastering the basic material contained in these references, or its equivalent from other sources.

Do you recall how you found this site, or where the link was that directed you there?

The elimination of money is one of the elite's goals. I just quickly browsed a few pages in their site, but do you know what they want to replace it with?

Yea, this stuff has got some serious red flags.
http://www.technocracy.org/transition/social/390-what-is-technocracy

Quote :
"After The Period Of Transition Is Over, the children born into the Technate will enjoy lifetime economic security and education to age 25, as a right of citizenship."

"security for every man, woman, and child from birth to death ;" (wonder when we will die?)

"That should supply every North American with his favorite personal items, all else being supplied as a right of citizenship"

"Complete health care;"

"Modern, energy-efficient housing for all; "

"Education to the full extent of each individual's ability; "

"Employment for all who are able to work and care for those who cannot; and
Careful stewardship of the Continent's natural resources and environment."

I guess this is a glimpse into the sophisticated systems that are now going to be pushed onto the public. This is worth dissecting. Thanks.

I missed the post in Economics, I will have a look.

It appears that the Eliminate Money proposal is getting circulated right now.
http://jeffreybrauer.blogspot.com/2005/02/we-must-eliminate-money.html

Actually, this looks like its a spin-off of Fabianism.

Quote :
Fictitious mockery of Fabianism

Fabian wanted the plastic cards to eliminate notes and coins. His plan was that when all notes were withdrawn, only businesses using the computer card system would be able to operate.

He planned that eventually some people would misplace their cards and be unable to buy or sell anything until a proof of identify was made. He wanted a law to be passed which would give him ultimate control - a law forcing everyone
to have their identification number tattooed onto their hand. The number would be visible only under a special light, linked to a computer. Every computer would be linked to a giant central computer so that Fabian could know everything about everyone.
