Why, what's going on?

LOTS of dissension, particularly between OWD and Andre being the worst, is my reading.
Then again, OUtlaw has shown lots of resilience in the past, so maybe it will do so again.
Hope it will!

Best.

Andre is the admin there, yes? Who is OWD? I really just don't pay attention to anything going on across the web anymore, it's just uninteresting to me now.

I just tried to go there and it says the forum is unavailable. Has it closed down now?

OWD is Old World Disorder...
Thanks for this information C1, I seem to have been really off-base in my appraisal of that place. Gee. (thought I was too savvy for that;
ha! Embarassed !!)

Don't know whether it's closed for good or not; I had assumed Andre had shut it down temporarily but if it's all a psyop I am losing interest also.

Well, is it primarily a source for learning & discussion, or for personality conflicts, jokes, and mindless dribble. What happens anytime someone tries to discuss anything in depth, relying on legitimate sources? Is the topic met with probing serious questions, and further research, or is it met with attack, dissension and obfuscation? Answering these questions will tell you who is really behind that forum.

Well (frankly), I don't think it's necessarily that open and shut. IMO, they could be a group of misguided "cooler than cool" egoists. And [i]nihilism[/] is So Cool. Huh!

But I'm getting really tired of not being able to take anything _at all_ at face value....makes me want to curse. So I don't care if they stay shut or not ..

Later,
best.

Well, are you now seeing why Jacques Elluls book "The Presence of the Kingdom" is so damn relevant and important, describing "Man's World" as well as the "Kingdom of God", and how to simultaneously walk amongst these 2 very different worlds. Man's world is filled with evil, deception, ugliness, but God's Kingdom is about Love, Honesty, Humility, etc.... focusing on all the greatness that humanity can display. Once one truely sees the absolute ugliness of man's world, then how does one survive if they can't reach out to something better, something more promising. Ellul gives us a way, a path.

Of course, we can always continue living in the Simulacra, choosing never to see the extent of the system and it's ugliness, but that's getting harder and harder to do, even amongst the uninitiated.
